Paragon Unity

Founder, CEO, and Executive Artist of OppaiCon, Paragon Unity is a pin-up/NSFW artist. He has attended dozens of conventions over the years. With a master's in visual design, Paragon has worked with companies like Disney, Marvel, DC Comics, and Porsche, in addition to various contract projects throughout his career. While attending numerous shows, he noticed that pin-up and NSFW artists are rarely visible, and when they are present their work is often hidden or covered up—which is understandable given that most conventions are family-focused. Conventions are starting to experiment with “After Dark” markets so these creators can display NSFW art and items, but those opportunities are typically limited in time and confined to a small section of the event. Wanting to celebrate artists who create adult-themed work, he set out to build a venue where artists can be free to showcase their creations openly. “If Japan can celebrate ecchi and hentai, why can’t we?” With that question in mind, the vision for OppaiCon was born.
